• Question: How does THETA Poker compare to other iOS Texas Hold 'Em games?

  Answer: THETA Poker is the easiest to use, has the cleanest user interface, and runs the strongest artificial intelligence engine. No other Texas Hold 'Em game for the iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad has as many customizable settings or as extensive help.

• Do the THETA Poker computer players peek at my hole cards, know what cards are going to be dealt, or cheat in any other way?

  Answer: No, THETA Poker plays a strong but completely honest game. Bad beats are part of poker, and since you can play hands so quickly in THETA Poker, you will run into them more often than you ever have before. This is a valuable learning experience since you need to handle these psychologically tough situations as calmly as possible (avoiding going "on tilt").

• Question: What iOS devices does THETA Poker run on?

  Answer: THETA Poker runs on any iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad that runs iOS Version 3.0 or higher. On the iPad, the app will run fine in 2x (double-size) mode.

• Question: Does playing THETA Poker require a network connection?

  Answer: No. The only time THETA Poker ever connects to the network is to view the more extensive, Web-based help files.

• Question: Why I am not hearing any sound in THETA Poker?

  Answer: Make sure that your iPhone is not muted, and inside THETA Poker, make sure that the Game Sounds Play Preference setting is ON. If you are on a first generation iPod touch, make sure that you have headphones on or an external speaker plugged in.

• Question: Can I listen to my music while playing THETA Poker?

  Answer: Yes, any music that is already playing will continue to play. Double-tap the Home button to pause or play the music and control the volume.

• Question: How can I take a screenshot in THETA Poker?

  Answer: In THETA Poker or almost any other iPhone or iPod touch application, you can take a screenshot by tapping on the Home button and then the Power button a split-second later. This will flash the screen and store a picture of the current screen in your Saved Photos album, from which you can do whatever you want with it from the Photos application, such as e-mailing the photo to someone.

  Alternatively, you can view and email a text recap of the current hand by tapping on the pot information. Tap the email icon on the left to email the hand history.

• Question: Why is the game called THETA Poker?

  Answer: The game's name has two meanings:

  1. THETA is short for "Texas Hold 'Em Turbo Action" because you can play a quick game anytime, anywhere. By configuring the game's options for speed, THETA Poker will let you play hands much more quickly than any other iOS Hold 'Em game.
  2. The Greek letter theta (Θ) can refer to the soul. One of the main goals of THETA Poker is to improve the soul of your Hold 'Em game and make you a better player.

• Question: Can you add feature XXXXX to THETA Poker?
