• iOS 4.0 Backgrounding - THETA Poker now saves its state whenever it is sent to the background. This prevents rolling back to the previously saved state when the app is killed explicitly or by a device reboot.

• iOS 4.0 Compatibility - Previous versions would actually run fine on iOS 4 but weren't officially compatible.
• User Rank - Added "-T" to indicate a tie in the user rank field (was already displayed on the Summary screen). Fixed incorrect "-T" mark on the second hand of a game, indicating that the user was tied with at least one other player even when it wasn't true.
• Other Bet - Fixed problem where Cancel button had to be tapped twice to exit "Other Raise..." or "Other Bet..." number entry popup.

• Custom Stack Size - Fixed this option, broken in version 1.9.1 (would either leave random stack size or possibly crash).
• Large Numbers - Fixed some cases where the large stack estimates would shrink or disappear.
• Game Summary - Removed incorrect "-T" (meaning "tied") in game summary after winning a shootout.

Version 1.9.1 - 01/12/10

• Maximum Reraises - Fixed multiple problems (was cutting off one too soon, was ignoring the big blind, and was allowing the AI to exceed the limit).
• Maximum First Raise Preflop - Changed computer's maximum first raise size preflop to be "4.0 BB to 5.0 BB" instead of "5.0 BB to 6.0 BB" to match what the user can easily do on the Bet/Raise screen. (All-in is still allowed.)

NOTE to iPhone OS 2.x users: version 1.9 of THETA Poker will be the last release that supports anything prior to iPhone OS 3.0, so make sure you download it (and even back up your copy outside of your iTunes folder)! You are highly encouraged to upgrade to the latest version of iPhone OS, however.

Version 1.8.0 - 10/27/09

• Large Numbers - Customization option displays large chip count on top of other players hole cards and your chips.
• Table Background - Customization option allows ten different colors for the table background instead of the default textured dark green felt.
• Startup Crash under iPhone OS 2.x - The About screen (from a workaround to stop the year from being a link for iPhone OS 3.x in THETA Poker 1.7.0) was fixed.

Version 1.7.1 - 09/30/09

• Tutorials - The Help section now contains basic tutorials for both No Limit Texas Hold 'Em and THETA Poker.
• About Screen - Removed link from Copyright date range (broken in iPhone OS 3.0, which thought it was a phone number and made it a tappable link).
• Pot Information - Fixed Heads-Up pot information when the pot gets very large (e.g., late in 300-player tournament with $100,000 starting stacks) to avoid running into the river card.
• Search Icon on Hand History Screen - Changed from the built-in magnifying glass to a "Hand Number" (pound sign) icon to meet the Apple User Interface Guidelines.
• Losing Chips - If you ever see chips being lost, please let me know, especially if you can e-mail the history of the relevant hand to support@thetapoker.com (it's most likely a pot that's been split more than once, possibly with a side pot). This release works around the problem to at least let you win the tournament (before it determined that you hadn't won because you didn't have all the chips!).

Version 1.7.0 - 08/25/09

• Game Stats - New screen displays the current Prize (if you're the next player to bust out), Next Jump (next increase in prize money), Smallest/Biggest Stack (the fewest/most chips you've had at the end of a hand), Hands Won, Showdowns Won, Flops Seen, Biggest Win/Loss, and Best Hand. From the game summary screen (tap on the Blind Info), tap on the Stats button. The stats also display automatically at the end of a knockout tournament or shootout.
• Expert Heads Up Play - Improved. Also made minor tweaks to Expert full table play.
• Split Main Pot Plus Side Pot - Fixed two problems ("unknown error" flashed and chip count temporarily displayed incorrectly [minor problem]; too many chips given to second winner of split pot [major problem]).

• Missing "Final Table" Message - Fixed problem where this message would not be displayed if the final table started short one or more players due to simultaneous bust outs.

Version 1.6.0 - 08/06/09

• Blind Size - Added options for "Smallest" (starting big blind is 1/500th the starting stack) and "Smaller" (1/250th) to allow deep stack tournaments.
• Skill Level - Added "Expert" AI level. Also improved all skill levels in a few places.
• Hand Histories - Added hand recaps with email ability. Tap on the "Pot" label to bring up the recap of the current hand, then use the buttons at the bottom (Done, Email, Previous, Next, and Search [go to hand #]).
• Rabbit Hunting - Added Hand History Customization option to show undealt community cards (for hands ended on the flop or turn).
• Show Hole Cards - In the Practice modes only, all players hole cards are shown in the Summary section of the Hand History.

Version 1.5.1 - 07/27/09

• Fixed major problem with phone calls making a game uncontinuable (also on iPod touches when exiting game from the popped up Music control). This release does not unstick a stuck game. You will need to start a new game once, but the problem should not occur again.

Version 1.1.2 - 01/03/09

• Added "Drag Rectangle" Customization setting. If set to On (default), the target area for dragging your cards or chips is visible at all times; if set to Off, the target area is invisible until it is highlighted (see Settings->Customization->Drag Rectangle).
• Fixed bug where you would finish in third place instead of first place if a tournament ended with your two remaining opponents busting out on the same hand. Sorry about that!
• Fixed problem where blinds would stop escalating too soon. The blinds now stop when the players in a heads-up situation would have an average M of 5.
